I am a stage manager, who currently resides just outside New York City on Long Island with my boyfriend Eric and our daughter Lila. Eric and I met on a year-long tour of the show “Rock of Ages” in 2010. Prior to that I toured for three years with the musical “Monty Python’s Spamalot”.

I started this blog back in 2006 as a way to keep my family and friends up to date on my life, my travels, and my theater work, and also to share my love of knitting and photography.

I’ve been living in NYC since 2002. I was born in the UK and moved to California when I was seven, where I grew up near San Francisco, living in and around the city until I moved to New York (there was also an awesome four year stop in San Diego for college). I’ve been a stage manager since I was 22. I consider my grad program to be the year I spent at the American Conservatory Theater interning after college, which was an invaluable experience. I’ve worked inside, outside, on Shakespeare, musicals, new plays, you name it. It’s been an amazing journey.

This year I embarked on my most awesome adventure yet – motherhood. Lila was born in November 2011.

All my photos can be viewed over at my Flickr page, found here. I shoot with a Nikon d80. Please don’t take anything without asking!
